Early Childhood Care Program:
Children’s brains are built, moment by moment, as they interact with their environments. In the first few years of life, more than one million neural connections are formed each second – a pace never repeated again. That makes the early years of childhood a time of great opportunity, but also great risk. Early childhood offers a critical window of opportunity to shape the trajectory of a child’s holistic development and build a foundation for their future.
Trust works on providing family based intervention to improve child development outcomes. Developmental screening is provided to monitor the growth and development as well as identify the developmental delays. Parenting tips, guidance and holistic support is to provide support to families of children aged 0-6 years of age.
Mental Health Care Program:
Different kinds of distressing events happen, such as war, natural disasters, accidents, fires and interpersonal losses and violence. Individuals, families or entire communities may be affected. People may lose their homes or loved ones, be separated from family and community, or may witness violence, destruction or death. Although everyone is affected in some way by these events, there are a wide range of reactions and feelings each person can have. Many people may feel overwhelmed, confused or very anxious, or numb and detached. Some people may have mild reactions, whereas others may have more severe reactions.
At the Trust we believe that every person has strengths and abilities to help them cope with life challenges. A person centric approach is provided by the Trust for the people where each individual is the focus and is supported by the holistic approach, working towards emotional and physical wellbeing.
Health and Nutrition Program:
Hunger and malnutrition affect millions of people in India, causing severe health complications and even death. India produces enough food to feed our entire population of billions of people but the struggle is ensuring that this food reaches the most vulnerable.
Through the Trust, we’ve been fighting hunger in this way for more than 18 years. The trust is working on regular free distribution of food/ration and basic commodity supply like clothes, shawls, blankets etc. to the needy people. We strive to feed as many people as we sustainably can, to move towards a healthy community.
Yoga:
An ancient tradition, Yoga, is now regarded as a holistic approach to health.
It has eight limbs-Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, Samadhi. Regular practice of yoga promotes strength, endurance, flexibility and facilitates characteristics of friendliness, compassion, and greater self-control, while cultivating a sense of calmness and well-being.
The Trust believes in the discipline of yoga that offers individuals a timeless and holistic model of health and healing. It suspends the fluctuations of the mind and by acting consciously, we may live a healthy life.
Our founder Trustee Mr. C.P. Singh has been advocating the benefits of Yoga in day to day life and is himself a practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga for more than 25 years. He has been influencing people with his healthy disciplined lifestyle through Yoga. His Yoga videos are available on his social media account and he guides aspirant people about the Yoga practices.
