Welcome; you are visiting this holy site of Shri Sai Baba .

Shri Saibaba, as today people address the Omnipotent, Omnipresent and the Omniscient One, appeared beneath the Holy Neem Tree in Shirdi in 1854 at the adolescent age of sixteen. The people were taken aback to look at a tender handsome boy mostly sitting in meditative posture, seldom moving, rarely talking to anyone and some times fearlessly moving in the nearby forests. This pleasant figure was the subject of attention, affection, amazement and devotion for the people. After three years of such vagabond living at Shirdi Shri Saibaba disappeared. Again after some time he came to Shirdi with one Chandmiyan’s nephew’s marriage party. Mhalsapati a pujari of the Khandoba Temple welcomed and addressed him as SAI. This time Saibaba decided to live in a barren mosque named by him as Dwarakamai. Baba lived in there till October 1918 when he left his mortal body to lie in the Samadhi Temple.
